The one with two benches has more cargo room and a lower price.
The one with captain's chairs has little cargo room (I can tell my double stroller wouldn't fit) and a higher price, but that pretty sunroof. lol Both have leather, are only a few years old, and have 12/12 warranties. We are planning on test driving Monday, but I don't think that will make much difference as they're very similar.

Re: If you could pick. . .
More important to me would be the brand and reliability between the two, and how well each would retain it value.
For example, I would buy a Honda or Toyota over a Ford or Kia any day.

lol Even harder to decide, because they're both GM. they're a suburban & a Yukon. Both 09s. We are really leaning toward the suburban, but I like the idea of captain chairs, which the Yukon has. We will probably to with the suburban due to price.

Re: If you could pick. . .
You can't fit your double stroller in a Yukon XL?!
How much different is the cargo room? I know we looked at both and the Expedition EL and they all and similar amounts of cargo; maybe a couple cubic inches of difference but definitely enough room for my double stroller (which is huge-- a Mountain Buggy double) and a trip to Costco or a big dog crate.

Re: If you could pick. . .
Oh well yeah of course the Tahoe/Yukon would have less room--a good deal less room (20"). Sorry, I was thinking she meant comparable vehicles. I would not get a Tahoe because I want cargo room. I need something that will fit a large and an XL dog crate, or a double stroller and a Costco trip, etc.

The only reason i think its regular Yukon vs Yukon XL is b/c the Suburban and Yukon XL would have the same amount of cargo space. Amanda . Blaming my phone for typos and crap.

Re: If you could pick. . .
Yeah you're totally right; I was just assuming she meant the Yukon XL since she liked the Suburban and I was assuming she'd want the similarly sized GMC

I would pick a Yukon XL over a Suburban any day. They are always a little nicer but the price difference is pretty steep. When we are done with our van we will upgrade to either one b/c we want at least 2 more kids.
OP i think you should get the Suburban. If your going to get a vehicle that big you should get one with the most cargo space. Amanda . Blaming my phone for typos and crap.

Re: If you could pick. . .
I would get captains chairs. Our SUV has 2 benches and I hate it for when I need to use the third row. Maybe it is just my SUV though. With 2 carseats in the front bench, you have to get to the third row through the back hatch. Awkward! If I had to do over, I woudl definitely get captains chairs.
