Re: Would you do this?
Since it is not a normal occurance i would be fine with it. Put the seat as far back as you can and if you have the option of turning off the air bag do that also. I would want to keep them home for the last week of school either.
We had a pick up for a 2nd vehicle when DS1 was born. there wasn't any other option except for DS1 to be in the "front seat"

Re: Would you do this?
I know you said you friend won't want to get their own kids out so early to go to your house but how far away are they? Could you let the oldest ride up front just to your friends house to drop of the little ones then move to the back?

Re: Would you do this?
Honestly I would. I would ff your other 3yo behind the passenger seat and then rf the other 2 center and driver outboard. That way the passenger front seat can go all the way back. I would be afraid to do it if the front seat was not as far back as it could go.

No, i wouldn't. It's just preschool, not worth the risk for a 3 yr old to go to preschool IMHO.

My husband did end up coming home so I could take the twins (I was very surprised he was even able)...and then I had to drive an hour up, switch car seats into the van and get back before the twins got done with school so I would have enough seats to go get them with all the kids. We didn't feel comfy doing someone in front either...and there was no one to watch the littles.
