How easy IS it to make diapers?

It really depends on your sewing level. I think doing things like the elastic have a little bit of a learning curve if you aren't used to sewing elastic etc. I think it's easy to make a functional diaper. A lot harder to make really nice looking diapers. Check out the craft section on this site, a lot of really cute mama made diapers!

Diapers are easy enough if you have basic sewing skills. Somewhat time consuming but cost wise very effective for newborn PUL pockets. I think it would take me 45 min and about $7 worth materials to make a PUL NB pocket.

I didn't like the verybaby pattern because it didn't say cut the elastic X inches long and I had to figure it out.

There is also the make laugh love site (used to be diaper swing divas) that has a whole forum devoted to diaper sewing.
