Diaper Swappers

Hi mamas! My 3yo ds goes in for this surgery monday morning. Im nervous, extremely nervous. Has anyone's lo gone thru this? What was the outcome? How horrible did the little one look right after the procedure?

ETA: Should I put him in a diaper during the surgery? Do I keep him in a diaper for a day or so after? What if the pain meds make him potty in his sleep?
