First PP ovulation question

Just curious, when you had your first postpartum ovulation did you notice Eggwhite CM right before? I am EBF and on the mini-pill so not worried about pregnancy really but I would still like a head up if it's about to happen. I figure if I knew I'd get EWCM beforehand I won't have to keep stressing every time I get a pimple or have an extra exhausted day. Thanks!

Nothing makes sense when nursing. So I wouldn't use that to judge your first PP, Unfortunately, you could get it several times and never actually ovulate. Breastfeeding changes the 'rules' for some people.

well, don't trust the mini pill!!!, I did some research on the possibilities of getting pregnant while bf or ebf, and it seemed that 90% of the women on the mini pill ended up pregnant, verse just bf with no mini pill... I'm assuming the reason is the hormone(mild..yes), still regulates your menstrual cycle..and if you have a menstrual cycle you will ovulate!!! That's the only reason I could think of....

I did after my first 2, but with my daughter I felt like I was getting close on and off for like 4 months, and then even when AF did return, didn't actually ovulate and have definite fertile mucus (though it was similar) for a couple of months after that.

I thought the point of BC pills is to prevent ovulation all together and often the fertile cervical mucus. In the mini pill I think I've seen than somewhere around half the people still ovulate but most likely I wouldn't think you would have ewcm AND ovulate. Otherwise how is the pill working to.prevent pregnancy? Or, maybe thats why people complain that it doesn't.
