Lucy, if your mom is in a position to be able to help you out, and it would improve your family's situation, I would not hesitate to take her up on her offer. It took me a long time to get to a place as an adult where I gratefully accepted whatever help my parents were willing to offer me, and I am glad that they can be generous and I can be gracious about it, if it is better for you and your family to get you out of what sounds like a pretty terrible situation, then dint hesitate to do it!
ETA: I apologize for all the commas!

So, I may be going home soon. I'm not sure about it yet though... My mom and I had a long talk yesterday and since I've been on antibiotics for the past 5-6 weeks and the lymph node thing still isn't clearing up she thinks it might be better for me to be near bigger hospitals and back home so I'm not as stressed. The crew chief I work under has been giving me the hardest time...has said really inappropriate things...he texts with one of the landmen and they talk about me. They make jokes about my meetings with my crew chief & how i need to show up naked...I've complained to the project manager but he doesn't do anything or move me. There's really not much I can do about it since I'm an independent contractor

well, she said she would help with my bills (car payment/insurance/formula) if I wanted to take off for a while and maybe figure something else out work-wise and see if i can't get this infection or whatever it is cleared up.

i'm not sure what to do because I feel bad about my mom taking care of me when i have a 3 month old to take care of.... ugh.
Funnily I think my diet will be better than usual. I can eat nice creamy sauces and fish, turkey breast, chicken, rice and pasta. Sandwiched are a bit boring because I can only have white bread... but it's not forever. We picked up some salmon and See-lachs as well as some potatoes and carrots today on the way home.

I think your mum knows what she's doing and if she's offered to help than you should take her up on it. She wouldn't offer if she couldn't do it.

MIL wants to go and get the fridge freezer tonight because Shannon has a doctors appointment tomorrow morning.

WIth luck he'll be able to bring it home (maybe even upstairs) tonight and get it set up in the morning before Shannon's appointment.

Re: Basically it's Monday!!! (and I'm HOME!)

I'm so excited because it means we'll finally have room to store food properly.

If I make a cake I'll be able to put it in the fridge. That's just brilliant!
If we have leftovers I'll be able to store them properly.....just unheard of till now.

....and we'll be able to buy frozen veg and have less wastage because the fresh has gone bad because of it being too warm here!

Morning. Cool fridge glad you are home!
I will wear my pjs to work today too! Until I go chaperone a field trip for Bella's class.
Ru I have the first book on hold at the library. I never got to reading it, but I think dh would like that series on tv. I am excited for the Hatfields and McCoys to start, mostly because of the cast but also I am interested in the plot.
Off to pack historically accurate lunch.
