Whats your goal?

My goal is at least a year. My last baby never had formula, ever.... so that's my goal this time too. I'll see how we feel at a year and keep going as long as both of us are enjoying it.

Two years but we have yet to quite make it. With DS my supply dried up when he was 19 months due to being pregnant with DD but he did start nursing again occasionally after she was born for probably the first 6-9 months (so until he was around 3 1/2). DD spontaneously weaned at 20 months. I was going to fight her on it but I was suffering from a pretty serious case of adrenal fatigue and just didn't have it in me. I still feel bad about that

This is likely my last baby so baring anything weird, I'm hoping for the full two years this time.

Goal is one year. If she weans after that, I'm good whenever.

From the beginning I said I wanted to nurse DS for at least 2 years!! He's now 2.5 and I'm hoping he doesn't wean before he turns 4. We shall see

Went with ds2 to 28months then he weaned while preggo. Like to make the same goal and let him self wean

I'm complicated. My goal for DD2 is 18 months, she is down to only nursing before bed and once during the night, her choice. I don't see her dropping that anytime soon. She's 14 months.

Here's the complicated part, I found out when she was 13months old I can't have anymore kids. So I made the choice to continue to pump twice a day, on top of her feedings, and store the milk in the deep freeze. We are considering adoption, and I would love to keep my supply up and a substantial stash for an adopted baby. I know you can keep milk in the deep freeze for up to a year, although 6 months is preferred. So my goal is to pump from now until next May and see where we are on the adoption road. If we are nowhere close, then I'll donate....again.

I'd be quite happy with two years for DD. That was my goal with DS as well, but sadly, he self weaned at 15 months (I was 25 weeks pregnant).

One year, which we should easily make. I don't like breastfeeding, but I am committed to going to one year. I will not quit cold turkey, but I hope to have him completely weaned by 15mths. I suppose that makes me a crappy mother, but there you have it.
