Tour of homes!

Any one up for showing your house off? Or maybe just the incentive to clean- for those of us that don't have the nesting urge yet? I love checking out other houses that are decorated so much more tastefully than mine.

I'm not sure I'll have time to post right away, but I figured I would start a thread. Anyone want to start with a certain room/ area? How about the front yard, as a 'drive-up' intro?

Sure, ill play. And get it started, since its naptime and I need to go get the mail anyway... Our yard/exterior needs some major landscaping help, but here's the front...
As a background, I live in old schoolhouse, built in 1918. Have remodeled it (well, still not done technically) for the past 8 yrs.

Re: Tour of homes!

This is ours last year, it looks pretty much the same with the addition of some flowers and the grass is finally growing!

Ohh fun! I'll have DH go out and take a picture with my phone when he gets back from getting the kids. He just did alot of planting so the front looks pretty good right now aside from the fact that we desperately need to pressure wash.

Re: Tour of homes!

Well, lets try this. It's a link to my snapfish photo. Hasn't worked before, but I'll try again!

I think it worked! Our front lawn was planted last year....and looks like, well, awefull. The back yard has nice grass, but the front yard is weeds . The peach tree looks really scraggly thanks to a 'man-made' ice coating. The tarp isn't on the swingset because the lovely invisible SD wind always catches it and tips the playset. Horse pasture is to the east of our front lawn.

Here's the lovely cattle yard to the other side of our driveway.

Re: Tour of homes!

Umm, dunno in #s. I can ask DH. We also have a grove and garden behind the 'place'. No 'farm' land tho :-)

I see everyone's tickler is on the fritz right now. Wonder why?
