Longies in the summer

Ok I am hoarding a couple pair of really gorgeous longies just in case I want to use them this summer. In all reality I know I won't. It is already HOT in Iowa most days and I know that come September when it cools off she will be to big.

Anyone else do this?

We would use them if we went up to the mountains at night, and in the evenings if it got chilly so maybe you could still use them a little...

Re: Longies in the summer

Mmm-hmm. I went through and tried all of Leo's woolies on him today. There were several pair of longies that just barely still fit, but they went back in the stack. I had a hard enough time taking out the ones that were already an inch too short. We might use them overnight, but Kansas summers are hot and humid enough that we'll be in shorties only for the next few months.

I live in Pensacola, and I saved a pair of knit longies for the sole purpose of taking my son to places like the Air Museum (freezing A/C), where he can get away with wearing them ^_^

It's just way too hot in Texas. Even with A/C, it doesn't get all that cold. If we go anywhere, it's usually outside and has something to do with water. lol
I am keeping his longies because I want to see if he can still wear them when fall gets here... if we even need them by then.
