I want bean soup too! But, no beans and I am not leaving the house today to run errands. I should put something in the crock though, as we are doing late garden today.

Re: Basically it's woolly Wednesday!!!

Bean soup does sound yummy. I think we're having White Beans with Tomatoes, Garlic, and Sage (a Cook's Illustrated recipe). The menu plan just says "beans" and those are the only ones I have in the freezer. Since it's already after 4, they'll have to do.

Today was much better overall, thank heavens. We hit two big milestones with N's PLing...this morning he told me he had to pee while his overnight diaper was still on, and he kept his pants dry ALL MORNING LONG.

Okay, dinner is planned, I am making sausage veggie soup in the CP and italian garlic bread on sourdough
Yay for pl progress! Heidi, as a mom who has BTDT as far as help goes after the 3rd comes, I can only recommend a good schedule, and giving up some rules that you usually stick by. Like maybe they watch more television, but find an activity you can do with them during morning naps that will wear them out for afternoon quiet time. Obstacle courses, relay "race" clean ups, if i time my kids doing something (as a team) they do it so much faster than they do if I just ask them to do it. You could even make a chart of how long it takes them each day for each chore, and could totally do it with your phone while nursing. Dancing is also good. The Imagination Movers music isn't completely obnoxious, and it has a lot of instructions of what to do in the songs. We used it at one of our playgroups and the moms about died trying to follow one of the songs completely through. Make playdough and let them play with it (outside if possible)......

Um, I am just all over achy. AF came this morning, waltzing in 4 days late. I actually tested yesterday because about a month ago I missed several pills close together and was thinking it might be positive. But no.
