How many days of school is your school year?

For those that follow a school "year" rather than go year round, how many days per year do you aim for or are required by your state? No specific number of days is mandated here in MI.

Our state says 180 days. We did k12 with our oldest this last year so that is what we had to have of recorded days. We were also required to do around 5 hours a day, so 900 minutes.

Our school district is 180, but dh (same state, different district) teaches at a school that is 195

Newbie to HS I have a ? Our state requires 180 the curriculum I've picked My Fathers World is only 166. How do I make up the other days? Do field trips count?

They do here, I know all provinces/states have their own rules, but most count field trip days in their totals

In addition to field trips, my thought is that there might be some days where you don't completely finish everything, but you continue the next day (in my book, that's definitely 2 days--happens in PS all the time).
