"More Milk Two" for use during pregnancy- anyone taken this?

I am currently nursing my 19 month old DD and I am 14 weeks pregnant. I have noticed my milk supply decreasing and want to do anything I can to help. I just ordered More Milk Two by MotherLove that is safe for pregnant mothers. Has anyone ever tried this? Any other tips?

TIA!

Just nurse. You can eat lots of oatmeal too but most women will lose their milk supply during pregnancy. Even without much milk you can still continue to nurse as much as you're like and even tandem nurse if you choose.

I have used More Milk Two for a few weeks during my pregnancy. It worked well to get me to about 50% of my daughter's milk needs. I eventually stopped as I was allergic to one of the ingredients. I substituted it with Alfalfa only and found that my supply finally tanked completely around 18 weeks but has recovered nicely now that i am 28 weeks. I haven't taken more alfalfa since the complete crash, but would certainly take it the next time I find myself pregnant and breastfeeding.

I just started this today, so I will update this thread when I see if it works for me.

Google 'lactation cookies' for a DELICIOUS oatmeal cookie recipe designed to help increase milk production. These are so good and not that bad for you. I make a batch of dough, make it all into balls and freeze them. Then, anytime I notice a dip in my supply I pull some out and bake them. I notice a big difference pretty quick in my supply. And it is much more fun to eat cookies than bowls of oatmeal or teas. I substitute the chocolate chips for raisins since. I limit my chocolate intake while nursing.

I'm not sure about B vitamins during pregnancy but taking a B Complex vitamin helps boost milk production and also gives you more energy. I would ask your OB or MW if you could take that. GL!

I'm 21 weeks along and still nursing my 11-month-old... just ordered some More Milk Two today. Have you noticed an increase in your supply?

It did help a little, however, my DD decided to wean at 20 months I'm not sure if she wasn't happy with the taste, amount or was just ready to wean. I feel like a bad mother.

Not all babies are willing to nurse through pregnancy. Sometimes moms have to push the issue a little to keep them nursing. Even so, some babies just won't. It is still possible that your baby may take back to nursing after your new baby is born.
