Are you really really sure your m/c was complete? I thought mine was and then 2 weeks later I hemoraged and was rushed to the ER for emergency surgery. During those 2 weeks I was still spotting, after the surgery the spotting stopped in 2 days. Knowing what I know now I would have taken a home pregnancy test 48 hours after the m/c to make sure my HCG levels were below 15. It's an easy way to see if you still have something stuck to your uterus. Please watch everything and be careful, I would hate for someone to have the same experience that I did.
Thanks mama. It's good to hear about others' situations with foster care. I really feel like that's something we could do...be a safe house. We'll see. I'm trying not to pester DH too often about it.

My dr. had me go in for blood work every week following my m/c until my hcg hit zero. And it did. So i'm pretty spankin sure it was complete. I don't know if my levels could have zeroed out and there still be an issue, though? My mom keeps bugging me to call my OB and tell them I'm spotting so much, but I really don't feel like dealing with anything m/c related anymore. Immature, huh? . I guess I just assume my cycle is crazy from the m/c still. If I go another month this way, though, I'll probably give them a call just to make sure everything is ok.

TCC after m/c starting: First Cycle

Hello, I'm joining in.

I started bleeding this past Wednesday evening and lost our baby early Friday morning. This has been especially hard for my DH and I because it took us over 4 years to conceive this baby.

But we are going to start trying again right away.

I look forward to chatting with you ladies. : )

Sorry for your loss It takes us years and years to get a viable pregnancy as well, it makes the m/c sting SO much more. Hopefully the next baby is a sticky one.

Nah, it was complete. You might just be healing. Have you checked your cervix to make sure it closed properly? You might just need some meds to shrink your uterus back down and close your cervix. Mine was WIDE open and my uterus was still the size of a 12 week pregnancy when I went in for surgery...but again, mine wasn't complete. I know you are so so done with the m/c but I have to agree with your mom on this one.

My appointment went great today. Baby is there!!! I am measuring 6w2d versus my dates of 6w4d. Strong heartbeat of 114 she said for this early. I cried tears of joy when I saw that little flicker! Praying this little bean is here to stay with me, I am in love already.
