a basic weekend

I think this is going to be a fun weekend thread if I'm the only one posting...

I am glad MH's fever broke, and I hope she starts feeling better really soon.

I am up super late today, Adam let me sleep in So the family I used to nanny for has said they are going to buy Dali's new car seat...we are going for a big convertible. She only has a half inch left of seatbelt room in her infant seat, she's a chunker.

Daisy's new cage is huge! I am sure she is very happy with it, Janine.

We got Dali a swimsuit at Target today and some floatie things, so we may take her down to the pool.

She'll love it in the pool....it's the biggest bath ever and you're allowed to splash!

I am not sure if she understands about splashing, since we bathe her in one of those Puj Tub's ..they work for us since we have very little room here. But I am hoping she enjoys the pool We had to get a giant exercise ball for her neck stretches.. we lay her sideways on it to stretch her neck... poor baby is getting so frustrated with all the stretching.

I'm sure...it's probably not very comfortable to be stretched. Poor baby. It'll be worth it in the end though.

We have had a great day. When we arrived we had lunch and then headed out without MH to go shopping.

Had a great shopping outing with Mel, Jerry, and me.

Home for a yummy salmon dinner.

MH and Grandma and Pop spent the afternoon swimming.

E and I are home and all in the big bed together. Tomorrow is our last Sunday at the Zoo Without Mel.

Nothing much planned for today other than tidying up to get ready for our visitors and bathing the kids.

I need to wash the sheet on the sofa bed and make that up again too. Heiner is melting the wax that FIL put on the new cabinet and then going to sand it a little and oil it. The wax was a bad idea. It didn't work at all.
