Re: Silly hypocritical park mom
Good for you. We eat healthy at home, but I allow my girls to accept politeness from others. And if they're eating McDonalds, goodness, the cheeto prob has more nutritional value!

Hahaha! That's awesome mama. I love it when the comebacks I think about later actually come out at the right time.

Re: Silly hypocritical park mom
Good for you. I'd far rather my kid eat cheetos than McDonalds.

I can't believe that she said that! A "no thanks" was all that was needed.

Re: Silly hypocritical park mom
That's awesome! I would have probably muttered your response to myself so she couldn't hear it - I'm just not not confrontational at all. But I love that you had the guts to say it out loud! She definitely deserved it!
In my opinion it's totally okay to not let your kids have stuff like cheetos...however, to act all oh-so-much-better-than-you when you feed your kid's Mc Donald's?!? That's ridiculous! I hope your comment made her think about that! |

Re: Silly hypocritical park mom
My husband was mortified, silly man. She gave me a look and then ignored us for the rest of the day. We're not anti-McDonald's or anything, we've got it in the past when we're in the car and didn't pack a lunch, but little miss High & Mighty needed brought down a few pegs LOL
