Re: What have you needed that you didn't anticipate?
Ladies, PM me for burp cloths. I have a bunch that were given to me that I can FFS to you. Most have some girly-ness, but your baby won't care.

Re: What have you needed that you didn't anticipate?
We went out and bought a little by your side co-sleeper because I didn't like how the mattress in our pack 'n play was. Then, he was getting like no sleep in that and so I bought the fisher price rock 'n play sleeper....which ROCKS and he definitely sleeps better in that. Oh and on impulse I bought a Wubbanub for him and we love that thing. It is so great to be able to find the paci easily in the dark and he can already start sort of holding it himself.
I did cave and buy some sposies but we've still been using cloth about half the time.

a wipes warmer for cloth wipes..newborn gowns (so much easier than sleepers for me!), a soother (i swore i wouldn't use one but she loves to suck), cd safe diaper cream, another extra large wet bag... its funny that even after all the research i did i still needed stuff! you just have to learn by doing i guess...

I ordered 7 more Imagine PF's and 3 NB Bummis SWW. I really can't believe that after all this diaper planning, I *still* didn't have everything I needed to CD!

More wipes. Two in cloth make the wipes stash seem lacking, even though I probably have 40+. More diapers for Gable, some are finally fitting right but his newborns make up half of his stash and he's out growing them. I think OS will still be too big. Nursing brad. My old ones are worn out and too big or just not a good fit. We had to order a replacement infant car seat insert. We never found the old one but thankfully had something that kindof worked from an old car seat.

Re: What have you needed that you didn't anticipate?
The only things I've bought are a few more cute newborn diapers. I just love using tiny trim newborn AIOs this time! I think she has only been in a prefold twice. I really hate anything bulky, so the tiny diapers have been very loved around here! She can actually wear all her little outfits!

Disposable diapers
Our prefolds and covers get too close to her cord and it makes me nervous. I wish the darn thing would fall off, she's two weeks old today! And I'm so ready to use our cloth diapers!!

Pocket diapers. I wound up hating the whole prefolds/fitted/cover thing. I am building up a Bg 4.0 stash. Have fallen in love with these. They even fit right under his cord.
