7 month old asleep by 8 awake anywhere from 645 to 7 am.
6 year old to bed by 8 (not necessarily asleep) and wake up between 700 and 720 am

Eta: for my kids going to bed earlier means waking up a lot earlier and more waking up in the middle of the night for the baby

My kids 8 and under go to bed at 8 and wakeup between 8:30 and 9:00.

My teens do whatever they want.

We will push bedtime to 8:30-9:00 over the summer for my 5,6 and 8 year olds.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

Asher is in bed by 8pm, and awake between 7am-8am. Sometimes goes to bed later, then will wake up later. 6-7 days he will sleep 12 hours at night.
Levi is only 2 weeks old but usually is asleep by 10:30-11 and then wakes for the morning around 6:30-8am. (wakes up every 3 hours)

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

DD, almost 3, goes to sleep between 8:30-9 and wakes around 6-7. She used to sleep later before the sun started coming up so freaking early! She usually doesn't nap, but if we happen to go for a walk or bike ride late in the day and she falls asleep, then she can be up until 11ish, but that's why we try not to let her nap.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

DS is 2, he goes to bed around 9 and usually sleeps until 7 or 8. DD is 6 months, she goes to bed sometime between 8 and 10 and sleeps until about 7.

DS sleeps 10-11 hours no matter what time he goes to bed. DD shows signs of being the same way, but it's hard to say for sure because she's still young.

Bedtime is 7:30, but they're not asleep until 9. DS (6) gets up between 5:30 and 6 every day. DD (4.5) gets up (unwillingly) at 6 during the week and 8-9 on the weekend, and gets a small nap during the week.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

I voted that Bedtime is after 7:30, and wake up is 7am-8am.

For my older two (almost 7yrs old and 4 1/2 yrs old) we are in bed reading our book at 8pm. Then 3 songs, then I'm out of there. Sometimes they fall asleep almost immediately, sometimes I am still hearing giggling an hour later.

DS3 is 2, he goes to bed right before I start reading to the two older kids. So he's in bed at 8pm. I'm not sure how long it takes him to fall asleep, as he usually only fusses for a few minutes after I close my bedroom door... it's rare that I hear him again.

My boys are up around 7:30 on average. Sometimes my oldest wakes up when DH does. Occasionally they sleep until about 8:30.

God bless!

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

I really think it depends on the kid. While DS was still taking naps he went to bed at 10 and got up at 9.30-10. Since getting rid of naptime (not my decision, mind you) he goes to bed at 9 and gets up between 7.30-8.30, sometimes nearly 9. But he's always been a sleeper.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

During the summer bedtime is later and so is wake up time since we are in no hurry to go anywhere. I try during the school year to put them in bed my 8pm, but that is easier because it gets darker sooner
