Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times
Oh you may also be interested that even when the kids go to bed later, they still get up by 6-6:30. And if they go to bed REALLY late, then they get up even earlier. Those are not good days.

Mine to to sleep at 7:30 and wake up at 9:00. It took me quite awhile to get this routine going and I hope it sticks! Before this they were waking up at 8:00, same bedtime.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times
16: bedtime around 1030pm on weeknights (I don't enforce it unless he late to school which he never is) and wake up at 6am. On the weekends he is up very late and sleeps late unless we have church.
4 and 8: bedtime between 9-930pm up around 7 am.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times
Bedtime is 8pm here. They all wake between 7 and 745AM. DS2 is 4 yo and sleeps 2 hours in the afternoon and room shares with his early rising biggest brother who is 7 and likes to get the party started. In his absence, DS2 is usually still crashed when I go get him at 8am. DS3 is 2y8m, sleeps 3 hours in the afternoon and sleeps every bit of 11 hours at night.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times
I voted after 730 pm for bedtime and after 8am for waking up. My children are 13 years old 9 years old(in 2 weeks) and 1 year old(also in 2 weeks). My 13 year old and 9 year old go to bed at 9 pm currently. My 9 year old will get up between 6-7 am. My 13 year old will get up between 7-8 am because she will read for a couple of hours before lights out. This is also while school is out. During school days bed time is 8pm and lights out is 9 pm. My 11 month old has recently come out of some rough weeks that messed up his sleep schedule. He had 6 weeks of stomach cramps and severe bloody, mucousy diarrhea caused by dairy. We only recently found out about his milk intolerance. At the same time he was battling a cold and cutting 3 teeth. So now he goes down for a nap a 10pm wakes at midnight and goes down again at 2am sleeps 'til 7am down again at 9am sleeps 'til 11 am. down again around 4 sleeps for 2 hours and is up again. Wer are slowly working on getting a more normal sleep patterm established.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times
I voted bedtime 7-8; wake 6-7.
DS2 (15.5 months) goes to sleep between 6-7 pm, wakes between 4-5 am, and is up at least once overnight. He stills naps twice daily most days, though he'll likely give up the am nap within a month. DD and DS1: bedtime is between 7:30 and 8 most days, though we will move that to 8:30 for the summer. DS1 falls asleep within 10 minutes; DD (3.5) falls asleep within 10 minutes on non-nap days, but takes about an hour or more to fall asleep in napping days. I try to kept her up for the most part, but some days shenstill desperately needs a nap. Both f them are typically up by 6:30, though DD will sometimes sleep until 7:30.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times
DS1 turns 8 next Friday, goes to bed around 9:30, wakes up at 7:30. DS2 is 5, occasionally naps for an hour still (esp in the car), and goes to bed around 9:30, wakes up at 8. They've always been "late to bed, late to rise"/"early to bed, early to rise" never "early to bed, late to rise".

6 1/2 year old and 3 year old Bed at 7:30 wake up between 7:30 and 8
11 month old bed at 8:30 wake up whenever the 3 year old climbs in her crib and wakes her up ![]() My 3 year old still takes a 2 hour nap in the afternoon and the baby takes two 1 hour naps and one 2 hour nap (so 4 hours total)
