7:30-8 bed, 7:30 awake (could set my clock by her).

If she gets to bed late, she sleeps crappy and wakes up early.

LO is 8 months old.

Bed is at 7 sharp unless DS feels icky. He's just totally done by 7. He wakes around 8:45 every morning. Some he goes back to bed for another hour, mostly he doesn't.

He's 11m.

DS's bedtime has been about 9pm from pretty much day one. His wakeup time has gotten gradually earlier. Now, at 2.5, he generally goes to bed at 9 and gets up between 7 and 8, with a 1-2 hour nap midday (from 1-3 at daycare, sometimes later at home on weekends). When his nap is two hours he often has more trouble falling asleep or gets up earlier the next morning (one or the other, depending on the day); I don't think he needs much more than about 12 hours total sleep. At home on weekends he sometimes ditches the nap altogether.

Pre preK my oldest would go to sleep anywhere from 9.30ish to 11. Hed sleep til 10-11 the next morning. Now it's 8.30 to bed up at 7. Ick. My youngest is weird. It doesn't matter when he falls asleep. He may wake up at 6.30 or sleep til 11. No ryhme or reason. All it means is more naps if he's up early.

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

We are night owls and so are our kids... 4yr old DD K's "bedtime" is 10:30 but lately we haven't been making it. In fact it is midnight and I just had to scold her for getting back out of bed about 15 minutes ago.
E (14 months) doesn't have a set bedtime. It would be pointless right now because he doesn't understand. He will just stand there in his crib SCREAMING until he makes himself sick and passes out from exhaustion. So I turn the light off & the tv on and snuggle him till he gets good & sleepy. It's usually about an hour after his sister.
K gets up around 8 or 9, has a banana, and watches cartoons until E and I get up around 10. When we were doing better about getting K in bed at bedtime she would drive us all crazy waking up at 7...

Then she goes down for a 3 hour nap around 2:30 or 3, and if I'm lucky E goes down at the same time...

ETA- just caught her out of bed AGAIN... At 12:20. Up & playing in the dark. Grrr...

1 year old and 3 year old do both together, they go to sleep at 9pm and wake up right around 8am, sometimes 9am.

Our 6yo goes to bed between 7:30-8 during the week and between 8:30-9 on the weekends. It does not matter what time he went to bed, he always wakes up at 6:30...what can we do to have him sleep longer?!?!?!

Re: Bedtimes and Wake-up Times

My kids usually go to bed around 7:30, 8 at the latest. And for sure, at least two of them are usually up by 6am.
