Re: What are you working on?
Not doing much around here....my house has been cleaned and re-cleaned 50 times in the past month in prep for this little one and the room is complete. The only thing we haven't done is install the car seat and that is because we will pull the boys seats out when we head to the hospital so that my in-laws can have them while they are watching the boys...so the new seat can be installed wherever in the car until we go to install all 3 for the first time.
I am so jealous of all you crafty mamas! I am NOT crafty at all and wouldn't even know where to begin with any of the projects that you are all working on. All I can do right now is browse etsy and TRY not to spend any more money!!!

Pulling out the high chair and swing today. We are gonna wash them up, and I plan to make a new cover for the high chair, just need to pick out fabric for it! So, I guess I'll be digging around in my craft room later this afternoon.

Today I tie dyed a bunch of lap t's etc and now I'm going to dye some bamboo velour for wipes.
How many cloth wipes would you all recommend?

I'm crazy, I made so many(oh my goodness, just added it up, 94), but I am sure I'll use wipes to clean more than just baby's bottom. Messy face, fingers and toes. At first I thought maybe I wouldn't, but considering they will be run through the sanitize cycle each time they are washed, I figure it will be okay. I think if you think about how many changes you will have per day, plus half that, just in case you need two for half your changes, then multiply that times how many days you want to be able to go before you wash then you have a good number. So say you average 12 changes a day, half of those you use two wipes, that's 18, and you want to wash at the end of day two, that makes 36, and I would personally round up to at least 40, just to get you through wash time. Did that make any sense? I guess the easy answer is, I would suggest at least 40. Have fun!

94?! You've been busy!
I dyed my bamboo velour yesterday and tomorrow I'm going to cut and sew. NOT looking forward to the sewing a bazillion squares. Lol.

I'm doing turned and topstitched bamboo velour/bamboo terry wipes but I'm considering replacing the terry with bamboo flannel to make it trimmer. I can't decide!
