Re: bathtub toy storage?

We have a super soft plastic bucket that's really flexible & bendy...it has holes in the sides & a mesh type bottom. Handle fits perfectly over the tub spout so it can hang to drain.

Well, I have one of these, and I suppose you could also use a decorative outer curtain to hide the contents.

What a great idea! We have been using a Rubbermaid bin but it has made more of a mess than I would like. I will be on the lookout for a similar basket

Re: bathtub toy storage?

we have this one:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20

it is a great size, not too big, but holds plenty, has held up well over the last 3 years or so.
I love that it holds itself open, and when bathtime is over, DS loves to "feed the whale" and clean up the toys.

Omg, your a genius. I have been taking baths on top of a pile of toys for years because none of the many suction cup things we've ever tried have ever stayed on. If I had a basket like that I could keep it there all time to keep DD from freaking out but easily take it out when I take a bath. How did I not think of this?
If you know how I can convince DD that she doesn't have to jump into the bath with me every time I take one when she's at home and awake, then you will hav solved all of my bathing problems.

Re: bathtub toy storage?

We have had this for almost 10 years. It works great because you can use the back to scoop the toys. I attach mine with the 3M removable sticky stuff like you use for command strips.

Re: bathtub toy storage?

We just use a medium-sized kids sand bucket to hold the toys.

Someone got us a boon frog thing. It's actually great because we limit bath toys to what will fit now, instead of having a huge supply that inevitably gets scattered around the bathroom.
