oh my, when i read the poll i was all embarassed thinking "omg! people actually change the tub water when their kid pees in it! oops...." but nice to see i'm not alone. totally A. ds pees in the tub every night. i don't have time to run him 2 separate baths. we only worry when he poops.

also, for big messes like that, i may, or may not, take him out back and spray him with a hose first. he thinks it's hilarious. so....that's ok right?

I would never ever leave my child alone with paint or markers... you all gave me enough reasons why! Cute picture though.


B. Snatch sweet pea from that nasty water, empty The tub, refill, and clean up all the new red paint cuteness has smeared everywhere.

Leave kid in the tub but completely drain it and use wipes to get the worst of the paint off so it doesn't get everywhere before we even leave that room. (now my husband would leave the pee probably but hose him off for a final rinse).

D. I cannot imagine a world in which MY baby could possibly get covered in red paint - I practice neatness parenting, here is the link_____.

Hee hee... this is me and why he goes to preschool. We do paint sometimes but they do it in every class so I don't feel bad about not doing it.

E. I am horrified that any young child could be neglected or ignored long enough to become covered in red paint - mods call CPS!!

Hee hee... why not. Get a visit with a social worker and maybe you can convince them for some free stuff or added benefits. CPS would probably run far far far away from me. Though they are probably curious at how we are doing as I dropped off the face of the earth from them.

Uhhh, A...no way in heck am I wasting all that water because of a little pee. My 2 year old thinks it's hilarious to stand up, pee like daddy and sit back down. It's just pee. My kids are all alive and haven't grown 3rd heads yet. The 2nd head is normal, right?

Probably A I'm pretty sure my kids regularly pee in the bathtub and I just don't notice because the peeing parts are submerged in water, it doesn't really freak me out.

I'm weird, I can't handle pee in the tub, unless she's been washed from head to toe already. If it were me she would stand/sit while I drain the tub and then fill it up again. But I'm weird like that!

I would do A. Really with all the red paint in the tub, what's a little pee gonna hurt? Pee is sterile anyway, or so I've heard.
