Pork Shoulder crock pot ideas please =)

title says it all! I've got a plain boring and old recipe for a pork shoulder that is you put the pork, a small onion, and 2 packets of onion soup mix in the crock pot, pour about a cup of bbq sauce overtop and cook for 4-6 hrs then shred and use on sandwiches, i'm tired of it, anyone have something new

Two onions quartered on bottom. Can of chipotles rough chopped and mixed with around two cups pineapple juice. We serve as sandwiches one night and sometimes do a shredded meat flatbread next night with pineapple. It freezes well shredded in extra pineapple juice too.

Oooh last time we also made shredded pork and egg burritos. Those were yummy.

I puree a few raw tomatillos, a jalapeno (seeded) a handful of cilantro, a small onion, a few garlic cloves, pour onto the roast. Add some chicken bouillion and hot water, salt and pepper. Cook all day on low. Chili verde, serve it with tortillas and sour cream.

We do kalua pork in the crock. Dont add water! only 1 whole green banana or banana leaves if you happen to have a banana tree, few drops of liquid smoke and a sprinkle of hawaiian sea salt or any coarse salt.

we serve shredded on kings hawaiian rolls with coleslaw on top.
