OM Knits Longies/Shorties Testing YYMN/MYMN (updated tester pricing)

Hi!

Welcome to OM Knits! I am a WOHM/WAHM mama to two and started knitting for friends, family and my children after my son was born. I have decided to list a few in-stock items and customs every month for parents to enjoy handmade wool knits for their little ones. Items for your baby are lovingly handmade with quality materials and care.

We are a pet friendly, non smoking home. All items are shipped USPS first class with delivery confirmation or priority mail depending on weight. Insurance is extra and per USPS charges/cost. All prices quoted in YYMN/MYMN are PPD within the US only, feel free to contact me for shipping outside of the US.

All items are knit with care,washed, lightly lanolized, and measured and listed as accurately as possible. For items knit on variegated yarn, care/time is put in to avoid pooling, stacking and other such issues but sometimes the yarn wants to do what it wants to do. Additionally, some yarns bleed colors and I am not responsible for this as every effort is made to purchase hand dyed yarns from reputable WAHM and Indie dyers. Refunds will not be offered for such items.

Refunds will be administered only if/when there is a major knitting flaw to the item that was not noted in the original listing and only within 10 days of the paid purchase in unused and undamaged condition.

OM Knits Customs Policies
Custom orders will be completed within 1-3 weeks of receipt of yarn from the buyer. Periodic work in progress pictures will be supplied to the buyer on their custom knitted item. Custom sizing will be taken for your garment based on measurements you provide. Shorties/Longies/Capris will be offered with a ribbed waistband with an eyelet row allowing for a twisted or lucet i-cord to match plus a basic seed stitch, garter stitch, rolled or ribbed cuff included in the YYMN/MYMN price.

I knit longies, shorties, capris and based off of the Eviepants pattern, Dakine pattern and/or Bubble Bum pattern which would be noted in the listing or upon request for customs. The pricing noted below are for BASIC knitting patterns, some items are more labor intensive and those will be charged at $0.14/yard in YYMN pricing.

MYMN is $2.00/oz for purewool and solid cestari. $5.50/oz for Hyenacart/Indie/WAHM yarn and prices are in addition to YYMN custom pricing. Prices quoted are ppd w/in US:

When measuring your child for specific sized in-stock or a custom garment please measure the hip at it's widest circumference, the rise from the front top of diaper to back top of diaper, the thigh at the highest part of the leg and inseam from highest point possible on the leg to the foot. If you want growing room please let me know so I can adjust measurements accordingly. Also if cloth diapering be sure to take these measurements over the bulkiest diaper you use.

Price of bottoms is based on hip measurement.

CUSTOMS

6/1 -Monkeys custom: 6/2 CO 6mos MM Kirkyard shorties, 6/5 reworked body due to hips too big and now are good size and look great, 6/6 finished, 6/8 shipped.

6/1 -emlee custom: 6/1 CO newbie/preemie beanie in PW Ashen to match chocolate river beanie - 6/1, finished. Request for one more but am finishing up Monkeys custom first so will CO 6/7 and 6/8 finished, 6/9 shipped.

6/6 -bwisniewski2 custom: Preemie beanie & preemie shorties in in PW Choco River (seed stitch hems). 6/9 CO beanie and finished, 6/9 CO shorties and 6/10 finished. Was going to ship with 2nd custom but shipped on 6/14 instead.

6/11 -bwisniewski2 2nd custom: Preemie beanie & preemie shorties in in purple solid (seed stitch hems). 6/12 CO shorties and 6/14 finished. 6/14 CO beanie and finished. 6/18, heard back from mama, pd & shipped 6/20.

6/12 -jcyjuice custom: 3mos hat w/ cable & pom poms & 3mos cabled longies in natural pw. 6/15 CO longies finished 6/20, 6/20 CO vest, 6/24 CO hat, 6/27 shipped.
