babe too round for the itti bitty??

So I love the itti bitty tuttos I purchased - they are so soft and very absorbent. Love the pattern too but I have a 5 mo old that I struggle to get the diaper too fit right.

He is EBF and maybe a little thicker than most. Rounding out at a good 18lbs or so. The website claims that the diaper will fit through 40lbs.

Does anyone else have trouble with the itti bittis and a thicker baby? Like I said, I love the diaper but I feel like it barely fits him.

To be honest? After 6 months of age, Itti Bittis pretty much stopped fitting my son well...and he's 50th percentile. I think it's them, not you (or specifically, your LO). I get the impression they work well for the long and skinnys. Those Australian babies must come out shaped differently than ours!

I have watched them and seen the different settings. I am still using them they just aren't my go-to anymore.

Maybe those Aussie's are a bit longer and skinnier.
