Re: Easy salad dressing recipes?

I do a little olive oil, a little balsamic, some lemon juice, salt and pepper and shake it up in a mason jar or whisk it.

Sometimes I throw in parmesan or basil. I'm pretty freewheeling.

Yum, that ranch sounds gooood! My kids are anti dressing so I'm no help, but maybe they'd like a sweeter dressing, like a miso or Asian dressing?

Re: Easy salad dressing recipes?

Copycat Olive Garden Dressing

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoon corn syrup
2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoon Romano cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, or one clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
sugar (optional)

Place all ingredients in a blender until well mixed. If this is a little too tart for your own personal taste, add a little extra sugar. This stays good for about 10 days in an airtight container

To make a little healthier you could use Olive Oil Mayo or even try substituting the mayo for Greek Yogurt.

Easy Russian Dressing:
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup Ketchup
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Easy Honey Mustard:
1/8 cup mustard (I like stone ground with horseradish in it)
1/8 cup of honey (or less depending on how strong the mustard is)
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp oil

No cal dressing:
Sprinkle balsamic vinegar over salad
Sprinkle Braggs liquid amino over salad

Sounds yummy, what might be a good sub for corn syrup? Honey? I should have stated that they also need to be corn, and soy free recipes. Unfortunately we don't buy mayo because the soy free ones are so pricy. I have made mayo before with our own eggs ( we have chickens) but the raw egg thing still kind of scares me.

The honey mustard sounds great!
