Updated-another question! OPK help?

I have had the same scenario with several different brands. I never used the wondfos that all the women on here rave about and I never used Dollar Tree either but I would have some that had a side of the line that was pretty dark but never as dark as the control line. I switched to the digi kind and still have to use them twice a day (2MU and some time in the early evening) to get one to be positive. Hope that helps!

I have used the $trees a couple of times and they just don't get super dark for me. One cycle I would have said I never got a positive but I had a clear temp shift and AF came right on time. So that "almost positive" really was. Wondfos are pretty great for me, always clear and crazy dark. I test mid morning (10-12) and again after 7pm right before bed. How long is your cycle normally? That will really tell you when to start testing. Also, to save money, only test when your cervical fluid is in a fertile state, ie watery/eggwhite etc. I know some people don't get fertile mucus but if you're bone dry you know you're most likely not going to surge that day. Remember too that sperm can live for days!

I think I might invest in some wondfos. I imagine that the line I finally did get to darken up was my positive. I do normally gets lots of fertile cm, but these past two months I had next to none. I guess looking back I can see where I might have had some but it was accompanied by non ewcm, so I dismissed it . I guess I'll just be more prepared for next month.

I just started a thread with my $ tree OPK progression. I'd start when they say on the package. All the literature I've read says best test times are 11am- 3pm and then again from 5pm- 10pm. Says test once during the early time and once during the later. I tested noon and 8pm. When I started getting almost positives I tested more- 6am when I woke, noon, 4pm after work and 8pm. I got my surge at 4pm cd 13 and I have very regular 28 day cycles. My $ tree test line never got darker than the control- just as dark as the control we bd a few days before the surge and a few after -Fx for me. Hth you

Thanks. It was helpful. I checked out your thread . I guess I'll just be more prepared and know what to look for next month.
