Smile Emergency Diaper out of Baby Sleep Gown

It had been a long week and I used up the last of my stash before washing

I decided to unleash the pioneer within and as I couldn't bear to have any of my shirts peed upon, I found an outgrown infant sleeping gown and thought, "hmmmmm..."

Spread gown in front of you with the arms at the top.

Fold up the elasticized bottom to desired length. I folded up about 2 inches for my 7-month old, 17 pounder.

Add in doubler if you'd like. I added a preemie prefold.

Trifold the front, fold up over baby.

Take one "arm" of the gown and bring it across the tummy. This is just like the origami flat fold now. Take the other arm and fold it towards the middle before bringing it over. Pin or snappi. (I had trouble with the lower portion of the snappi gripping the knit fabric, so I used a pin).
