What do you do when an item is sold in a thread?

if it is the only thing in the thread you can "delete" the thread by adding the word SOLD, or GONE, or DELETE to the title. Eventually it will get moved to that area of DS. It never totally goes away... it just kind of gets retired there.

If it is one item in a thread of many other items still available, you can just edit in to write SOLD near that item, so others know not to look at it.

You should not DELETE lots of info from threads in case a buyer wants to refer back to it to check any details.

The quickest way to get a thread removed from FSOT is to change the title to SOLD or DELETE. Becky is right, it never goes away. It just gets moved.
