hybrid trainers with disposable inserts?

Hi all, now that DS has just turned 3 and I'm in the process of splitting up with DH I have no more time for diaper laundry. I'm going to sell all my diaper stash and concentrate on potty training DS (who is NOT interested yet, worryingly...) I'd rather not use fully disposable training pants, but rather something like the Gro-Via system with disposable insert and cloth outer. But their trainer is apparently supposed to be washed after each pee because the insert is sewn in, and the Flip trainer uses a cloth inner as well. Is there anything else I'm missing that would work with a disposable inner and not need to be washed unless really soiled?

You can buy the Flip disposable diaper inserts to use in their trainer. I have used them a few times for my DS to double up at night. It is actually what Cottonbabies suggests.

I haven't tried them with a disposable insert but the Flip Trainers are great. I'd highly recommend them. We have a bunch & have been using them for over 6 months now.

Re: hybrid trainers with disposable inserts?

Thanks for the suggestion of the Flip trainer! Can the disposable inserts be attached like the cloth ones, so the pants can be pulled up and down without the insert slipping or falling out?
