FRBE - if it fits it ships?

I have a flat rate bubble envelope and I was able to squish 6 unprepped, medium prefolds into it. It's pretty full but I can still close it without assistance. Is it true that "if it fits, it ships" or will it most likely cost more and they'll charge me regular priority?

Also, I think they're slightly more expensive than FREs. Can I print a label for an FRE and stick a stamp on top of that?

I've never used one of these flat rate bubble mailers before. Thank you!

if its not too mishapen you should be fine just reinforce the ends so it don't pop open. You can take it to the usps and have them double check for you. I do put a regular stamp on the bubble fre.

It's just thick, but it's actually a pretty nice looking package. The PO is no help...one refuses to help me because I live in a different zip code and the other is just full of people there to get a paycheck for attendance.

If it closes with the tape provided and you do not have to change the package( like having to cut and retape), then you can ship it. You can even wrap tape around the entire package to reinforce it.

USPS.com has an option for bubble FRE. It's a .20 difference, but Then you don't have to add a stamp. And you can still pay with PP.

Thanks so much!

This. I've done it multiple times with no problems. :-)

My return address. They said I can only ship there if my address is the right zip for their office. :/

oh wow, that's nuts!
I'd call the postmaster and complain, they are wrong. If he won't help, call the 1-800 post office # and report it. I ship from the closest usps to my home, and it is a different zipcode than mine. I think your place is just being rude to you.
