I'd call the postmaster and complain, they are wrong. If he won't help, call the 1-800 post office # and report it. I ship from the closest usps to my home, and it is a different zipcode than mine. I think your place is just being rude to you.
That's not a surprise! The mail carrier is terrible too. A package that could fit in our box got a note today and this is normal for them. Sigh.

If you are shipping a flat rate package, then they are being stupid.

If you are paying for shipping based on start-end addresses, then you do need to calculate shipping from the zipcode of the post office you are shipping out of.

Then why can you drop FC packages in any blue box?

Yep it's ok! Your po sounds ridiculous! I have even gotten a package that was so full that the top wasn't able to close with the provided tab...but looked like it was under the tape she put on. Man sure you do use tape to reinforce the opening as they can pop open...like most envelopes can. I also use usps to ship.

The padded FRE's go by the "fits/ships" thingie. FC mail is the same no matter where shipping to/from in the upper 48. You can put any return address you want on an envelope, but shipping will be calculated by where you are actually shipping from. And ditto to sally. Call a higher up. I always think of MIB when I go to the PO.

Actually I use the bubble mailers all the time and through PayPal just put fre. Never had a problem. I also put tape all over, but of it deals then you are fine.

Sent from my iPhone- forgive the craziness
