Diaper Swappers

Ladies, I'm admitting it. We have TOO many clothes in our house!!! I WOH (well, I did, and I think I will be again in the fall...not sure yet), so I do have to keep enough for work, but still, I have TOO much...my DH has too much...my kids have too much!!!

I am going to try to come up with an acceptable amount of clothing items for us, and declutter from there. This will definitely take a while, but if I haven't posted in update in a few days, please check on me. I need this thread to hold me accountable and to motivate me!!

I'm going to keep the lists of amounts of clothes in post #2 and will update as I decide. I know the numbers may still seem high to many of you, but understand that these are still drastic cuts for us!

8 Pair Dress Pants
6 Skirts
20 nice tops
4 pair brown socks
4 pair black socks
2 pair warm socks
8 pair white socks

DH:
15 undershirts
15 work t-shirts
15 good t-shirts

DS:
10 pair underwear

Not going very well so far...lol...we'll see! Maybe I should take pics. If I embarrass myself enough, I may deal with it. Lol

I started making a pile of the things I wore on a regular basis. Surprisingly that eliminated MOST of my clothes!!! But I am that type I guess, just wearing the same few thigns over and over. Not really into dressing up.

Post pics!!!!! Maybe we can help you decide what you should keep..........

Got rid of 11 tops, 4 bottoms, and 1 pair of overalls. Added them to the consign pile. Will donate many of them to the family resource center at one of the schools or our local church thrift store if they don't sell at the end of July.
