Does anybody want to take my 3-year-old?

Ok, so I won't really give her away but right now I'm about to explode!!!

She's screamed and sobbing hysterically all day, complete with throwing her dramatic self on the floor, over every.single.frickin'.thing, from DS tapping her on the shoulder and running away to the fact that I don't have anymore strawberries left since they ate them all yesterday to me telling her to put my phone down and stop calling DP when I'm in the bathroom (she knows how to press the button to call back the last number that called me). And once she starts sobbing, if I say "Oh, come on! It's not that bad!" or "Seriously, calm down" she just gets even more hysterical. I swear they are harder to deal with at 3 than they are at 2. In fact, my 2-year-old was quietly sitting there looking at her like she's lost her mind while I was trying to talk her down from her last freak out.

Pointless vent over and done. Feel free to totally ignore - I'm just having one of those days and Miss Ultra Super Duper Sensitive is really grating on my last nerve.

Only if you take mine. :P

Mine is terrified, I mean TERRIFIED of bugs at the moment. ANY bug, fly, spider, you name it. He is a boy too! Needless to say with more outside time now it is driving me INSANE!

Re: Does anybody want to take my 3-year-old?

I only have an 8 month old, so no toddler tantrums yet, but major clingy days recently. He also keeps pulling chunks of my hair out of my head, he is so strong. I keep joking to my husband that I am going to rent him out for a few hours to my next door neighbors who don't have kids yet.

Maybe we should start a child-renting service for people who need a fix for a few hours

Thankfully they are super cute, right?

Jennifer, my 3 yo just got out of her "totally petrified of any bug" phase. She would practically climb up a wall if a ladybug entered the house. So I feel your pain! Hopefully your boy will get over it pretty soon - it's terrible in the summer time!

I have 2 step kids and 2 of my own kids and the only one not fighting is my 11 month old. The oldest 3 have been fighting all week. I'm done so ready to just run away.

I have been lately. ds has entered this stage where he spends more hours of the day whiny and crying then not. He doesn't like to talk much and it drives me crazy, because he'd rather while and point. I figure he's old enough to learn whining and crying isn't going to get him anywhere.
