Which carrier is good for breastfeeding?
My sister is due in 2 months. She is planning on breastfeeding this baby and also babywearing.
I wore both of my boys but I didn't breastfeed. So I can only give her so much advice. Right now she is looking at the Maya Wrap ring sling. Is this a good choice? Is there a better choice? I am helping as much as possible but I am lost in this area. Any help would be great! Oh and she has never wore any of her children with the exception of the BJorn. So something easy to use is a plus! She was looking at the Moby Wrap but I am not sure how easy it would be for her. It has been a long time since I have used a wrap so I may not be of much help with teaching her.

Re: Which carrier is good for breastfeeding?
Don't know what that sling is like but I saw neighbor in ring sling nursing. Seems easy & I think maybe if I have another that needs to feed when I'm cooking at night....

Ring slings are the easiest to nurse in! But you can also nurse in ssc's and mei tais!

Wrap is a good choice. I also nurse in my boba (ssc) and it is pretty easy.

Re: Which carrier is good for breastfeeding?
I nursed my son in my Mamma's Milk sling and it was ok. Have nursed DD in my Beco Gemini several times and it is amazing!

Re: Which carrier is good for breastfeeding?
If you're unsure of the wrap, have her try a K'tan! They are exactly like a stretchy wrap, but without the wrap part! Two loops of fabric that are easy to position baby into. This is my first baby wearing experience with a NB, (dd is 11weeks) and I love our K'tan! It's so easy. I had a strechy wrap, and was overwhelmed with it!!

The Maya Wrap RS is an EXCELLENT choice for nursing while wearing baby! And I love the Maya Wrap RS - it is a really nice RS and very easy to use. It is my fav!
