Pump question

I feel like my pump isn't working as efficiently anymore. I have a Medela PISA. What parts should I replace to get a better more efficient pumping session?

Re: Pump question

I haven't used mine in 3 1/2 years (will be 4 when baby is born in Nov), so I took it to the LC I used with DS, they hooked up a gauge to it (both sides) and verified that the psi was correct (actually a little above normal, which was fine) and I am good! So I say, take it to a Lactation Consultant's office, ask pediatrician if they can help too, some offices have LC's and they would have the tool needed...HTH

Re: Pump question

I would also call Medela or a lactation consultant. I love mine but had to replace the cord on it after only having it for about 2 months! So frustrating!

Re: Pump question

Typically the little white membranes need replacing every few months, they no longer seal so effectively. http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com...xtra-membranes Fortunately they're a cheap replacement.

The membranes for sure and I would check your tubing too.
