Hi! Just wondering how many of you mamas on here are from AK? And what town you live in and where are you from? I was born in Kotzebue but have lived in Anchorage nearly my whole life and I currently reside here.

I live in Anchorage too! We've been here for almost two years (moved from Seattle).

Nice! Where at in Seattle? I lived in North Seattle near Shoreline for a few years back in 08-09

I lived in several places. Auburn, in Seattle near Magnuson Park/Children's, Everett, Lake Stevens... We moved to AK in 2010.

I live in Anchorage, I was raised here and just moved back from a 5 year stay in Washington.

There's some things I miss about WA! Like the Goodwill... And more mamas that do cloth. Craigslist leaves much to be desired...

I'm still surprised Alaska doesn't have such a large cloth diaper following. I had to giggle at the store the other day when a much loving bohemian/hippy family was there that had a disposable on their toddler. Alaskans never cease to amaze me.
