Re: I finally made an OS AIO!
Awesome! Looks great mama!
Do you mind if i ask a few questions? I'd like to make some aio's, but i've never owned one. i see you use pul at the front and back to prevent wicking, but what is the center part (under your insert)? Is that cotton too? And if so, how do you prevent wicking at the legs? Thanks!! ![]() Eta ... My machine skips stitches when the needle gets dull, is that a possibility

Re: I finally made an OS AIO!
Me too! It's so convenient to be able to pick up PUL locally (even though I'm still trying out their PUL for the first time in the last month or so).

skipping stitches....Yess, when I was trying out sewing with FOE, I tried a bjillion different needles and ideas. Cleaning out the bobbin area, oiling, taking apart bobin area & cleaning, tension stuff, different sizes sharp needles, different sizes ball point needles, etc, etc. Eventually just went with the needle that skipped the fewest stitches. I've been sewing for years and years as my mom taught us when we were young. I actually remember making an outfit in first grade. But, besides the home-ec sewing classes in 8th or 9th grade or whatever, it hasn't been any "professional" learning. I know I still need to learn more about needle types and fabric types and how they interact, etc, etc. And the 'real' names for machine parts, etc. Someday maybe... =)

Re: I finally made an OS AIO!
It looks great! When you say your stitches skip on the seams, is it when you are doing the topstitching? I found using a size 9 (65) needle and turning my tension up really helps.
