Really cute diapers! Did you use a pattern or make up your own?

Re: I finally made an OS AIO!

Surely! They could be made with aplix/touchtape. It wouldn't be much different, just put that in instead of snaps on the front.

So I've been actually wanting to do this and knew someone had to have by now!! Especially since these are discontinued now! Anyways, I have some BG 3.0 pockets that I was gifted but not a big fan of, plus they need to elastic and aplix as well (bought a snap press to convert them, hate BG aplix)!! So I can up with the idea of sewing some sort or insert in them, just like the elemental, but attaching it only to the suedecloth, so essentially the pocket is still usuaboe if needed (night time use).
What do u think and any tips on doing it, ie length of insert, fabric choice, etc
TIA

I think that using BG pockets to make into AIO's would be a neat idea to try. Heh, I'm not an aplix/velcro fan either!

I think that I would make the insert similar in size to the BG MF insert folded/snapped to the "medium" size. For me personally, that size seems to work best for the longest age ranges. Often, I just use my BG pockets as a cover with a pad folded flat or (non mirofiber) insert laid in. Heck you could even just use a flat pad folded, then sew it onto the suedecloth in a big "I" shape, or even just the two short ends.
Personally, I'd use a cotton insert, but that's mainly because suedecloth topped soakers don't work super great for us (guessing our very hard water causes too much buildup). Otherwise, you could even just top the microfiber BG inserts with suedecloth or fleece, and use those.
There are so many posibilities!
=)

Re: I finally made an OS AIO!

Wow! Great! I'm using your post to help guide my mom in the right direction. She's a master seamstress but has never tried diapers. I'm supper stoked if she pulls it off which I know she will! Thanks for the great post and inspiration! I might even try to make one eventually...
