Re: "Morning" sickness?
I have had HG with all of my pregnancies, and it's looking like this time won't be any different. I have been throwing up constantly since this weekend. The mornings are okay usually but as the day goes on it gets pretty bad. I have started phenergan & zofran, yet still needed to get IV fluids yesterday

Re: "Morning" sickness?
My first two was like 6 weeks I was nauseated to the hilt & with first vommitting &tired lots & sleeping & lost 20 Lbs but second not actual vommitting I think & no weightloss just gain. This time nothing but tiredness little food aversion but not like kid 2. I don't remember with one but even wih positive no real signs at 7weeks of pregnancy.....

Re: "Morning" sickness?
I was able to get my OB to call in a Rx of Zofran even though he hasn't even seen me for my 1st appt! I took my 1st dose last night and it helped. Even took it last night before bed (actually went to bed late). But at 4am, the nausea was back in full force and took more peppermint & ginger with relief until I woke up. I was up after 9am and took some ginger/peppermint and thought the nausea would go away after an hour like it normally does. It is now 5 hours later and I am STILL 4/10 nausea.
I guess I can be grateful that this isn't like DS's pregnancy. But I also didn't know about ginger, peppermint, sour things, zofran, phenerghen......... And the more nauseated I am, the more I know this baby will stick.

Re: "Morning" sickness?
Well, the nausea has appeared, but so far not so bad yet.
Kalle- so sorry, that sounds awful!

Re: "Morning" sickness?
OK, this is ridiculous. This is my 5th pregnancy. We have 3 girls and 1 boy right now and this is by FAR the WORST morning sickness I have EVER had. I must admit that with the girls I had it some and hardly at all with my son but this is absolutely crazy. I am sick pretty much all day every day and have been for over a week now (I'm 7w 4d). I don't think it's anything I should worry about really but I've never had anything like this before. It must be an alien this time!
Any thoughts?

Re: "Morning" sickness?
I'm actually queezy. I don't know if it's ms or what. I'm only 6w4d though. I never had a hint of nausea before so I'm hoping it's a good sign.

Re: "Morning" sickness?
That is a very good sign, Alice. I also didn't have MS with my last pregnancy, so it was really promising this time around when I began feeling awful.
Yesterday I made it the whole day without throwing up. I think I've found the trick, which is force feeding myself eggs in the morning. I hide them in a tortilla which kind of blands it down a bit. So I guess protein is key. Blah. |
