Here's what I did: Put on a dry pad and go lay down for 15 or 20 minutes and relax. If it is your water, the liquid will pool for awhile. After that time, stand up. If you pad is wet right away, you're water broke! If not, you're in the clear for now

The gushes haven't been happening as often. But I'm having contractions about every 4 minutes for 30 seconds.

You are 40+ right? I think this sounds like showtime

You could have a weird leak or it might be discharge from your cervical change. Are the contractions painful yet?
