So I'm making upcycled prefolds out of t- shirts, can I use shop towels for the soaker. Sam's Club has Terry & microfiber, what works better?

I made some etpf out of some bamboo terry and I just used a few layers of bamboo for the middle. I am not a fan of synthetic soakers personally so I say just use some of the scraps left over from the teeshirt instead

We use the Sam's microfiber towels as inserts for our pocket dipes and they work well. I tri-fold them and pair them with a 4 layer terry insert or 8 layer flannel/jersey insert for my 18 month old whose a heavy wetter.

Microfiber can hold stink, so keep that in mind.

I don't like microfiber at all. My son would pee once and it would leak all over. Compression leaks are horrible. Plus they can get stinky.
