Dryin up?
My 16 month old son is still nursing (yay!) but I'm wondering something. I'm currently...24 weeks pregnant. I know your milk can dry up or decrease dramatically when your pregnant especially in the second trimester. Would a toddler continue to nurse even if he wasn't gettin much or any? I would look in my nursing book but it has mysteriously disappeared. I would also try pumping but pump broke and since I don't actually need one I do t want to spend the money to get a new one.
The entire reason for my curiosity (possible tmi, just so ya know) is that last night when my husband and I were having "fun of our own" he couldn't get any milk out. Just curious. |

My toddler continued to comfort nurse during my last pregnancy despite the fact that my milk pretty much dried up around month 5 or 6. He was pretty impressed after baby came with the reappearance of milk
. I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant and still nursing my two year old, but still producing milk. It will be interesting to see what he does when I'm not. I think whether they get frustrated with the whole thing and give up, or continue nursing without milk depends on the personality of the child.

Possibly. Mine is VERY attached to boobie time. That's why I was wondering if it was just an attachment thing.
