I just did stuffed peppers. They tasted great but the pepper itself was on the verge of falling apart. One did fall apart. And they took a long time to cook from frozen, like 1.5 hours for two peppers. But easy!

great idea!!

Re: Freezer Cooking Newbies Unite!

I am totally wanting to start doing this. I found a blog (via Pinterest ) that has a bunch of recipes. I was wanting to for sure do it for when we have #4, but it would be awesome to do on a regular basis because there are OFTEN nights I don't feel like cooking. The more we can avoid eating out, the better!!

I don't do specific freezer meals - I just double some recipes and put the extra in the freezer. My favorites are sloppy joes, taco meat, chili, veggie soup, and plain cooked ground beef. I've always got frozen veggies in there too to help round things out.

I love knowing that there are simple, filing, and healthy meals in the freezer. I'm cutting back on my grocery spending this week and being able to eat out of the freezer makes it a lot easier.

I find plain browned ground beef is great for the freezer. I can throw it into anything pretty quickly and save a lot of time on weeknights. I can throw together a lasagna in minutes using cooked ground beef from the freezer and no boil noodles.
