how do i keep track of my thread once i post it? sorry i know this is typical newbie blind nonesense... but i am just having such difficulty getting into this...

You can subscribe to your thread...under the "Thread Tools" drop down on the top right of your post.

To see your subscribed threads click on "User CP" in the top left corner then scroll down and the subscribed threads will be on the left side menu.

It's different on the app though!

I click on my user name in the top right of screen then hit the tab that says "Statistics" then select "find all threads"
