What kinds of funny things do your LO's say?
My girl has been really into reading lately, especially the Box car children, and some of her comments have been coming from books I think. After seeing the Curious George exhibit at our Children's Museum, she has been very into that, and we found a C.G. tshirt at our thrift store in her size. Her comment- "We simply MUST take it." She has been making other similar ones as well with kind of old fashioned wording, cracks me up.

My 2 year old sneezed on me the other day. He looked down, wiped it off, and said, "Mommy, I 'bless youd' on your hand."

My four year old was told to clean up his toys because it was almost bed time, and his reply was, "mommy, that's bad business", with his arms crossed, shaking his head, with arms folded across his chest. I have no idea where he heard that! I've never said that phrase in my life!

Ds asked me a few weeks ago if there was a tiny little man under the bath tub who drinks the water. So cute! He was VERY SERIOUS and slightly worried!

Re: What kinds of funny things do your LO's say?
My four year old likes to dress himself.....so he comes out in a longsleeve shirt, suit jacket, black sweatpants, spiderman wristbands, cowboy boots and a childs fedora hat! It's like 100 degrees here already. When I asked him about his interesting outfit his reply was "This is my style, it's how I roll!" I have no idea where he heard it but it is his new fav comment. I hear "its how I roll" constantly.
Oh, he also can't say except, so he says percept. It is adorable when he is all serious and telling me what's what and then he says "seriously Mama, blah blah blah percept......" Oh, Oh....my fav.....he can't say vagina, so he calls it my puhgina. Cracks me up! Last edited by milosmama; 06-19-2012 at 09:39 PM. |

DD1 (3) was trying to get DH to sit in her chair. He said 'Daddys too big.'
She replied 'Daddy two big?' Thought for a second, then said 'Daddys one big?' She now tells us DH is 2 big, mommy is 1 big, Uncle is 3 big (he's 6'6"), and her baby sister is little big.

Re: What kinds of funny things do your LO's say?
Love these types of threads...My son Jax is almost 3 and here are a few off the top of my head.
'Waving and saying bye bye poo poo/pee, see you morrow' - as he is flushing the toilet. 'Going on Thomas the choo choo train to see dama debbie' - I am taking him on the train tomorrow and this is what he has been saying for the past week. 'Tatolla bar' = granola bar 'Papisun' = caprison When he says a word wrong, like tatolla bar or papisun, and I say it back to him the same way, he says 'no, don't say dat' 'Chepa' = ketchup 'Oocy Ooo' = Lucy Lou (our cat) He always says yous and me. Like 'me don't yike dat', or I go in yous truck. Lately he's been saying 'hey mister or hey lady' Like yesterday I was walking in from the back yard and he said 'hey lady tome back here'. 'Daddy, yous truck backwards' - when Jess backs his truck in the driveway. I know there are more...but these are my favorites right now. My daughter is almost 9, so I don't get too many form her, but yesterday she was talking to me about her friends mom who had twins. So then she was asking what were 3 babies and so on. So I said 'single, twins, triplets' and then she stoped me and said 'then fourthlets right?' |
