Waiting on any FB to spend PP

So, how long is long enough to wait on someone to acknowledge that they received your package/leave feedback before you can spend your pay pal? I have DC that it was deliver but they haven't even come back online. Is there a specific length of time to wait before it is safe to assume they are pleased because they haven't come on to say otherwise?

Also, this person has 20 pos feedback, but has neglected to leave feedback for 4 other people, some from October of last year. Which is a bummer because I could use some more feedback!

You should PM the OP and ask if she received your package. Sometimes people need a reminder to leave feedback.

I did, she hasn't been online. That's my whole issue, what if she doesn't come online for 3 more weeks? Or longer even? In that scenario how long must one wait before they can spend the dough?

If you have the money to cover any disputes I don't see why you can't use it right away?

I wouldn't be able to cover it in a dispute, (sahm, tight/no budget) so I'll just have to find my patience cap and put it on. DC says delivered on the 13th, so it's only been two days. I'll wait a week and go from there.

It's just frustrating. I sold diapers to buy trainers and now I'm using t-shirts some nights when my diapers are still damp because I'm waiting to be able to use the money. Bah! Not anyone else's problem though. It's a learning curve, and I have learned. and t-shirts work really well by the way! I may look into buying some specifically for diapering.

Thanks for the input.

Paypal would "hold" the money, showing your pp balance as negatve, not actually pull funds from your cc or bank account IF a claim were initiated and IF pp sided with the buyer which seems unlikely since they wew delivered. It would be silly to wait since some members never seem to leave feedback.

Thanks for that info. I will still probably wait a few days until I feel good about it.

I ended up just using it and sending them a nice message to remind them to leave feedback. It turned out that they had gone away for a week. Maybe your person is just enjoying summer too. I assume if they had a problem they would immediately let you know. I assumed that for myself too, but you never know. Hope it works out soon.

Re: Waiting on any FB to spend PP

Thanks Every time I get a PM, I start worrying that it's a complaint. But so far so good I actually gave my buyers FB, hoping that they would be kind enough to do the same. So far, only two have given me FB. Oh well. There isn't much more I could do at this point. I'll give them 2 weeks from the date of the sale. I should feel safe by then
