Green Toys! They are 5 years old with two wild boys and they have lasted. All other plastic toys have broken in a month or so.

Re: What Are Your Most Durable Toys?

Plan Toys are more durable than Melissa and Doug toys. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I run a Preschool.

Exactly! We have their tea set and it looks like new and is washable. It's surprising how much use this gets as my daughter loves play kitchen and uses the utensils and dishes in different ways...it's rarely for tea these days.

BTW, I've had a Sprig toy break in multiple places and I assumed they'd be great quality. I saw Amazon has similar bad reviews and when I contacted the company for a replacement part, they were no help w/o the receipt which is of no help when your kids get gifts.

I would highly recommend Magnatiles! They are awesome (I have 4 destructive boys and these are so great- I first discovered them at the Children's Museum)

Re: What Are Your Most Durable Toys?

Sprig we like for the 3+yrs. But from baby to now, Green Toys are a favorite, for the block building we love all things Haba and Plan, Tegu is a new favorite. Hape is a great brand, but the toys are kind of delicate in my opinion. Bilibo, wheelybug, and some Melissa and Doug toys.

I think those are the things we played with at a play place. I really want some.
