Diaper Swappers

My mom has Spud. A red beany baby dog that she takes with her on all trips and documents the trip with the dog. We have Lewis a monkey I had made for our trip out to the West Coast when my son was 9 months. He has been with us ever since on many a journey.

So do you have something that you use? I will try to post photos of Lewis in a bit.

I tried to get DH to do this with an animal while he was in Iraq, but he didn't :P

We have done other people's stuffed animals that they sent us - a little stuffed dog that came from our niece.

Sheepie is quite well traveled. I've never thought to document it though. But if you look carefully he's always in at least one of our trip pictures.

Okay. Here is Lewis in Chicago, at Pike Street (Seattle), and in Mall of America (about a year later).

My mom found "roman" the roamin gnome (travelocity one) at Ross the other day. She was super excited. They are taking him with them on their road trip to yellowstone and mt Rushmore next month.

No time like now to start one! You just need a small animal to start it.

I actually have a whole story behind my monkey. I gave the story to the woman who made Lewis and she made him with that story in mind.

What he didn't know was we would loose 3 children, have a miscarriage, have a living son and have me battle cancer all before our 7th anniversary!
