I love that do many of us are loving flats and prefolds! I wasn't sold on prefolds when we first bright him home but nowmy only complaint is how quickly he soaks them. I started adding micro fleece liners so he wouldn't be sitting in urine but if i Leanne him in one for more than am hour it us almost completely soaked.

Also, I've been using xs thirsties covers but i put a flip on him today and it actually fit! So I'm super excited to be able to use those now too!

Right now i am using my nana's bottoms and my 2 wahm aios b/c they go below her belly button. I'll start using my others once it completely heals, which I'm thinking should be in a few more days. Out of the 2 I'm currently using i prefer the nana's bottoms

I bought a bunch of different nb AIOs and my favorites are kissaluvs and totbot tiny fits. I also have a few nb fitteds and a dozen prefolds with some bummis covers.

I just ordered some itti bitti tuttos during the Babysteals sale.

I love my bummi's super brite covers. They fit SO trimly, which is important for fitting well into clothing.
However, I'm not huge on prefolds. Poo leaks out the legs alll the time, and my boys squirm and kick during changes and I have a hard time getting them snappi'd on. I tried trifolding once, and it was a poo leaking nightmare.

I LOVE my super cheap newborn/infant Alva's! However, they're also pretty big at the legs.

My gmd workhorse fitteds do NOT absorb enough, but I otherwise like then. The boys may be less than 7 pounds, but they already eat about 25+ ounces of breast milk per day, so their output exceeds what the NB workhorses can handle right now. However, the size small workhorses have an extra flap of prefold fabric, so I look forward to using those.

It's hard CDing small babies, especially when they HATE having their diapers changed (and thus it takes a few minutes to do) and I'm unable to change them more often than every 2 hours (usually its every 3) so less absorbent diapers aren't an option... I can barely keep up with their feedings and 2-3 hour changes as it is. I'd love to change them more often, but it just isn't possible for me right now. :-(

I have so many good and absorbent diapers in small/OS that I can't wait to use!

Re: Favorite diaper?

My favorites have been Bumgenius AIO's! We used the Newborn for about two weeks and then sized up to smalls, and now I think he is ready for mediums and onesize. My little guy hates feeling wet so we change alot and don't use prefolds for much, besides spit up. I have some Nanas with cotton velour inners and he doesn't like them because they feel wet.

Re: Favorite diaper?

We're past the NB stage for diapers, but my go to are Small Fuzzibunz with bamboo inserts, they're trim and have a perfect fit on her.

Re: Favorite diaper?

My favorites were the prefolds w/ snappi and the thirsties covers. The AIO I liked best was the tots bots AIO, though they weren't as leak proof as the prefolds.
